A photographic series about the War on Drugs in the Philippines.
More than 700 people suspected to have been involved with drugs have been killed by police or vigilantes in the Philippines since President Rodrigo Duterte was swept to power more than a month ago. Duterte pledged to kill thousands in an all-out war against drugs, his only real election platform that won him the presidency by a massive margin in a country where drugs and crime are deeply-rooted.
As soon as he was elected president, Duterte encouraged the public to help him in his war against crime, urging citizens with guns to shoot and kill drug dealers who resist arrest and fight back in their neighborhoods.
"Deadly Drugs" will show you more than 50 pictures of the war on drugs in Philippines.
Hardcover photo book, 60 pages and measures 25cm x 20cm. All images are already photographed and only need to be organized and published.
